We recommend concentrating on SHORT TERM goals as they will give you more Confidence, Feedback and Pride in accomplishment.
Goals needs to be visible-written down and displayed. They are constant reminders of what you want to achieve.

Goals once recorded and reviewed, provide the brain with a blueprint for action.

Everyone wants feedback on performance-given.
You need to be prepared to accept the negative feedback with the positive and use the negative as a motivator to work harder.
Never fail into trap of focusing on the person delivering the message rather than the message itself!
Seek feedback specific to your goals - anything else may be a distraction.

Get it before next training session or match if possible.
Short term goals require more timely feedback in order to better monitor progress.
